Senior/Lead Product Manager

As a Senior or Lead Product Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying the highest-impact opportunities across live games and ensuring they are translated into measurable product improvements.

Working in close partnership with Executive Producers and Product Analysts, you'll use data, experimentation and player insights to drive decisions across retention, engagement, progression, economy design and monetisation.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a data-driven environment, enjoys solving complex product problems and is excited by the challenge of continuously improving live games through hypothesis-led experimentation.

The level and title will be aligned to the successful candidate's experience and impact.

What You'll Do

Product Strategy & Opportunity Identification

• Develop a deep understanding of player behaviour and product performance across multiple games.
• Identify opportunities to improve:
  • Retention
  • Engagement
  • Progression
  • Economy performance
  • Monetisation
• Quantify opportunities and prioritise them based on potential impact.
• Use player insights and data to influence strategic product decisions.

Hypothesis-Driven Product Development

• Turn opportunities into clear, testable hypotheses.
• Define success metrics and expected outcomes before development begins.
• Ensure product decisions are driven by evidence rather than opinion.
• Build a culture of experimentation and continuous learning.

Experimentation & Analytics

• Work closely with Product Analysts to design robust A/B tests.
• Analyse experiment results and provide clear recommendations.
• Evaluate outcomes objectively and adapt strategy based on findings.
• Ensure decisions are informed by meaningful player and business metrics.

Roadmap Ownership

• Partner with Executive Producers to shape and prioritise game roadmaps.
• Evaluate initiatives based on expected impact and value creation.
• Balance short-term wins with long-term product health.
• Ensure roadmap decisions are supported by data and player needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with:

• Support the development of product best practices across the portfolio.
• Mentor and guide Product Analysts where appropriate.
• Contribute to the evolution of product processes, experimentation frameworks and decision-making standards.
• Help raise the overall product capability of the organisation.

New Product Evaluation

• Provide product input on emerging game opportunities.
• Assess early performance indicators and player behaviour.
• Help identify projects with the strongest long-term potential.
• Support early-stage product strategy and growth planning.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

• Significant Product Management experience within free-to-play mobile games.
• Track record of improving live game performance through product initiatives.
• Experience working on live-service products with measurable business impact.
• Strong understanding of player behaviour and product optimisation.
• Experience partnering closely with Producers, Game Leads or Product Leaders.

Product & Analytical Expertise

• Strong understanding of:
  • Cohort analysis
  • Funnel analysis
  • Experiment design
  • A/B testing
  • Retention metrics
  • Engagement metrics
  • Monetisation metrics
• Deep understanding of game economies, progression systems and LiveOps.
• Experience working with hybrid monetisation models.

Location: Lymington Spa, UK
Salary Range: £60,000-£90,000 GBP per annum
