An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy, modern practice in Coventry. This role is ideal for a confident vet who enjoys leading a team, managing a varied caseload, and providing outstanding patient care in a supportive, friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality general practice care, including routine and advanced medical and surgical cases
- Support and mentor a team of vets, nurses, and support staff
- Participate in 1 in 4 weekend rota (Saturday 9am–5pm, Sunday 10am–4pm)
- Work collaboratively with the wider practice team to maintain excellent client service
- Develop your special interests with full support for CPD and certificates
Requirements
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Experienced in general practice, confident with routine surgery and medicine
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Special interests welcomed; experience with exotics desirable but not essential
- Full-time applicants preferred; flexible approach to shifts and weekend rota
