Our partner is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Section - Patient Access to join its expanding healthcare network in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished healthcare operations professional to take on a leadership role overseeing patient access services across Dubai Health facilities and directly contribute to an exceptional, patient-centred healthcare experience. This is an integrated academic healthcare system bringing together care, learning, discovery and giving , with its Patient First promise at the heart of its services. Its network currently spans 6 hospitals, 26 health centres and 21 medical fitness centres, supported by more than 9,400 healthcare professionals. The Opportunity As Head of Section - Patient Access , you will lead and oversee patient access operations across its facilities, ensuring that patients experience efficient, seamless and high-quality access to healthcare services. You will play a key role in optimizing registration, appointment scheduling and admission processes, while ensuring data accuracy, operational efficiency and revenue cycle integrity. Key Responsibilities • Lead and oversee patient access operations across its facilities. • Ensure efficient and patient-friendly registration, scheduling and admission processes. • Establish and maintain high standards for data accuracy and integrity. • Monitor patient access performance, identify operational gaps and implement improvement initiatives. • Support revenue cycle integrity by ensuring accurate patient information, eligibility and registration processes. • Develop and monitor operational KPIs and service performance metrics. • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements and healthcare standards. • Work collaboratively with clinical, administrative, financial and operational teams to improve patient flow and experience. • Lead, develop and support patient access teams, fostering a culture of accountability, service excellence and continuous improvement. • Promote Patient First values throughout all patient access processes. Knowledge and Skills Required • Computer literate in using Excel, Word, Access, etc. The knowledge of Salama will be highly valuable • Deep understanding of healthcare systems, patient engagement, and process improvement methodologies. • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop staff. • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Arabic. • Experience managing a 24/7 front desk operation in a high-pressure environment. • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence organizational change. • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards related to patient care and experience. • Proven experience in managing front desk operations, preferably in a large healthcare system or hospital environment. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. • Strong knowledge of patient satisfaction metrics, benchmarks, and performance.
