Priory Hospital Roehampton is looking to recruit a Family Therapist to join the team. This is a Part-Time/18.75-Hour role. The full time salary is £53,560, Pro rata the salary will be £26,780. Candidates must hold a recognised postgraduate qualification in Family/Systemic Psychotherapy and be registered or accredited with a relevant professional body such as UKCP or AFT. Demonstrable post-qualification experience working with complex mental health presentations is essential, ideally within eating disorders and/or inpatient services. The successful candidate will show strong systemic formulation skills, confidence in managing risk and safeguarding, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist systemic assessments and family therapy interventions for patients and families within eating disorder and general mental health inpatient services.
- Facilitate single-family sessions, multi-family groups, and carers’ workshops using evidence-based systemic models.
- Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to contribute to formulation, care planning, risk management, and discharge planning.
- Provide psychoeducation and therapeutic support to families to enhance understanding, improve communication, and promote recovery-focused outcomes.
- Maintain professional registration (e.g., UKCP/AFT), uphold high standards of clinical documentation, and contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
