Electronic Engineer Start Date: 7 September Rotation: 10 weeks on / 10 weeks off Cabin: Single Salary: USD $6,189 x 12 Key Responsibilities: Manage the onboard Electronic Department and technical team. Maintain and troubleshoot GMDSS, navigation, radar and satellite communication systems. Maintain onboard IT networks, servers, Wi-Fi and communication systems. Support CCTV, fire detection, alarms, access control and emergency systems. Maintain TV, audio-visual and entertainment systems. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, SOLAS and safety requirements. Manage planned maintenance, AMOS administration and spare parts. Liaise with the Chief Engineer, Electrical Department and shore-side technical teams. Requirements: ETO Certificate – essential High Voltage – essential Relevant Electronic Engineering qualification. GMDSS/GOC and STCW certification. Strong electronics, IT and communication systems experience. Passenger vessel experience.
