We are currently recruiting for a Despatch Supervisor working at our Fresh potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire. Shift & Hours of work: 4 days on, 4 days off - Rolling Shift, working 06:00hrs to 18:00hrs Salary: £13.96 per hour

ResponsibilitiesAssist the Despatch Team Leader in managing workload of the despatch team on the relevant shift to ensure skills are spread correctly to ensure all aspects of the despatch operation run efficiently.Ensure loads are built and despatched correctly by managing staff in the departmentCheck paperwork to ensure all loads are despatched accurately Ensure all loads are labelled correctly and are despatched with the correct paperworkCommunicate issues with loading to the Supply ChainCommunicate with production team on shortages and production plans to enable an efficient despatch operationEnsure a clean working environment at all times within the deptBe proficient to take the delivery notes in accordance with the relevant SO.Create and agree load plans with external hauliers to ensure product is despatched in a timely mannerLiaise with hauliers to ensure loads are despatched as required.Requirements Valid Forklift Truck License is required.Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred.Ability to lead, motivate and organise a team.Good communication skills and collaborative approachPhysical fitness and capability to handle lifting and moving heavy items.Commitment to following safety standards and procedures at all times.Benefits Long Service Awards Employee of the Month & On the Spot Awards Discounted Staff Sales Life Assurance Access to Free Wellbeing Services (inc. counselling and financial advice).
