Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a circa £1.5bn tender, currently in dialogue phase, requiring strong commercial judgement and experience beyond simple or transactional procurement structures.
- Managing and delivering a broader pipeline of sourcing demand across the programme, ensuring pace, quality and compliance with organisational policies and processes.
- Leading a core team of three direct reports, alongside a wider virtual team contributing to programme‑related procurements.
- Engaging and influencing at the most senior levels, including Executive Committee members and Functional Directors, providing clear advice and challenge where needed.
- Maintaining a strategic, end‑to‑end view of the sourcing pipeline while also being prepared to "roll sleeves up" and intervene directly where required.
- Identifying, coordinating and delivering dependent or enabling sourcing activities that sit outside the immediate programme scope but are critical to its success.
