Accounts Senior – Successful Accountancy Practice – Uckfield
Location: Uckfield, East Sussex
Salary: £38,000 – £50,000 (DOE)

The Role:
As an Accounts Senior , you will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse client portfolio, delivering high-quality accounting services and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
- Completing corporate and personal tax returns
- Preparing management accounts and providing insightful financial advice
- Assisting with VAT returns and bookkeeping when required
- Liaising directly with clients to build strong working relationships
- Supporting junior team members and reviewing their work
- Keeping up to date with changes in accounting standards and tax legislation
About You:
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Experience working within a UK accountancy practice
- AAT qualified, ACCA/ACA part-qualified or fully qualified (or QBE)
- Strong knowledge of FRS 102, FRS 105, and UK tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
