Your primary work base location will be Sandwell however you will also be expected to work in other localities of Black Country when necessary. Main duties of the job
Black Country Healthcare is looking for enthusiastic and motivated nurses who will provide compassionate, person-centred care to adults experiencing mental health difficulties. Crisis resolution Home Treatment Teams offer rapid assessment and short term intensive treatment in order to support individuals and their family/carers during a mental health crisis. Through a recovery approach, we aim to prevent hospital admission or to facilitate discharge from hospital. We follow a multidisciplinary team approach, consisting of nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists, non-medical prescribers, occupational therapists, and support time recovery workers. You will find our teams extremely supportive whilst you are growing into the role. We have a good team spirit, and great team work is at the heart of the service. About us

We are committed to delivering a high standard of multi-disciplinary recovery focused care; the post holder would be an integral part of this process and will be essential to improving service delivery. You will need to have relevant experience in either hospital or community settings, and have transferable skills for assessing mental health needs and risks, and formulating care plans for individuals who might be in a high level of distress with a variety of needs. - Experience of working with other people who have deliberately self-harmed
- Experience of teaching and assessing in clinical practice (mentoring)
- Experience of Working in an Acute Environment Such as Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team or Mental Health Liaison Team
- Caseload management and clinical supervisory experience
- Experience in Quality Care initiatives and audit.
