Head Of Finance

£80k - £85k per annum

Robert Half has partnered with a large engineering business in Crewe to recruit for a Head of Finance on a 14-16 month fixed term contract.

Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 + bonus up to 10%

Working pattern: Hybrid (2 days office, 3 days from home)

Start date: August or September

Location: Crewe

The Role

A senior, strategic finance leadership role within a large and complex organisation. You will work closely with executive stakeholders to drive performance, shape strategy and support ongoing growth and transformation.

Responsibilities

Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial performance reporting
Partner with senior leadership to influence strategic decisions
Provide clear insight into business performance, risks and opportunities
Ensure strong financial controls, governance and compliance
Lead and develop the finance team through a period of change

Requirements

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
Experience working within a large, complex organisation
Proven ability to operate at a strategic level and influence senior stakeholders
Strong commercial finance and planning background
Track record of leading teams and delivering change

We are looking for candidates with experience working in either construction, infrastructure, engineering, maintenance or other heavy industries.
