A friendly and inclusive primary school in Mitcham is looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive primary school in Mitcham, providing general classroom support alongside some 1:1 work with pupils who require additional help.

The Role:
* Full-time Teaching Assistant position
* Supporting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
* Providing 1:1 support to pupils when required
* Working with individuals and small groups to support learning
* Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
* Contributing to a positive learning environment within this Mitcham primary school

The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous school or childcare experience is desirable
* Comfortable providing 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs
* SEN Teaching Assistants and graduates are encouraged to apply
* Positive, patient and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
