Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to support our logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for inventory management, order fulfilment, and ensuring a smooth workflow in the warehouse. Join our team and contribute to our commitment to efficiency and excellence in supply chain management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving and processing incoming stock and materials
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain inventory levels and perform regular stock checks
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organised
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse supervisor
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred
- Basic understanding of inventory management systems
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts (training may be provided)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items as required
