Early Years Teaching Assistant

Thorpe Hesley Primary School is seeking caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistants to join both our two-year-old provision and our outstanding school-based nursery for children aged three and over.

Working as part of our committed Early Years team, you will support the Room Lead, Nursery Teacher and EYFS Lead in delivering a high-quality, play-based curriculum that meets the individual needs of every child. You will play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where our youngest learners can develop their confidence, curiosity and independence, and where their emotional, social and academic development is carefully supported.

We are looking for someone with experience of working in early years settings and a strong understanding of the EYFS framework. You will bring a warm, caring and nurturing approach, alongside a genuine passion for supporting young children at the very start of their learning journey. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as is a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
