Job Title: KS2 Primary Teacher Location: Harpenden, Hertfordshire Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time Salary: M1-UPS3 (£34,398 - £52,490)

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and passionate KS2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Harpenden from September 2026. This is a full-time position within Key Stage 2, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils' learning and development during an important stage of their education.

The successful candidate will be committed to delivering engaging, creative and well-structured lessons that inspire learners, promote high standards, and support pupils' academic, social and emotional progress.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons across the primary curriculum. - Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development. - Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils. - Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, providing clear feedback and next steps. - Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment. - Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents. - Contribute to the wider life of the school. - Uphold safeguarding and behaviour expectations at all times.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential. - Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply and will be fully supported. - Experience teaching within KS2 is desirable. - Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum. - Excellent classroom management and communication skills. - A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. - A positive, proactive and reflective approach to teaching.
