Exam Invigilator - Boston & Spalding
Locations: Boston & Spalding Salary: £12.50 - £14.00 per hour (depending on experience) Start Date: October 2026 Contract Type: Ad-hoc / Part-time | Mock Examinations GSL Education is seeking reliable and responsible Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools across Boston and Spalding during their upcoming mock examinations from October 2026 . This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for flexible, part-time work within a school environment. You don't necessarily need previous invigilation experience, as full guidance will be provided, but you must be confident following instructions and maintaining a calm, fair, and professional environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise students during mock examinations
Follow examination procedures and ensure rules are consistently applied
Distribute and collect examination papers and materials
Monitor students throughout the examination
Deal calmly and appropriately with any issues that arise
Maintain accurate records and report any irregularities
Help ensure examinations run smoothly and fairly The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience working with children or young people is desirable
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures
A calm, professional, and responsible approach
Strong communication skills
The ability to remain focused and vigilant for extended periods
Flexibility to work across different examination dates
