The Opportunity

We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Music Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Surrey .

This is not a permanent or full-time position . Teachers will be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations and the requirements of local schools.

Assignments can range from individual cover days to short blocks of supply, providing flexibility while allowing you to continue developing students' musical skills.

The Role

As a Daily Supply Music Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage students to develop their musical knowledge, creativity and confidence.

Lesson Delivery: Deliver well-structured Music lessons across the relevant Key Stages, covering appropriate theoretical and practical content.

Performance: Support students in developing their confidence and skills through singing, instrumental work and performance activities where appropriate.

Composition & Creativity: Encourage students to experiment with musical ideas and develop their own compositions.

Classroom Management: Maintain an organised, positive and purposeful learning environment.

Professional Responsibilities: Follow school policies, communicate effectively with colleagues and maintain professional standards throughout each assignment.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent where applicable.

• Experience teaching Music across the relevant Key Stages.

• Strong musical and subject knowledge.

• Confidence delivering both theoretical and practical Music lessons.

• Excellent classroom management skills.

• A creative, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to quickly establish positive relationships with students.

• Reliability and professionalism.

• A valid legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
