An outstanding independent day school in Oxfordshire is seeking an experienced and creative Design & Technology Teacher to join their innovative Technology Department from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent post, ideal for a teacher passionate about combining technical expertise with creative problem-solving.
About the Role
The successful candidate will teach Design & Technology across KS3–KS5 , specialising in Product Design, Engineering, or Graphic Design , depending on their background. Lessons encourage students to develop design thinking, technical precision, and sustainability awareness.
They will guide students through the process of designing, modelling, and manufacturing prototypes, using a range of materials and CAD/CAM technologies. The postholder will also contribute to departmental enrichment , including robotics, design competitions, and STEM projects.

Experience and Qualifications
QTS/PGCE and degree in Design & Technology or Engineering.
Strong practical and digital design skills.
Commitment to sustainable design education.
Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level DT (preferred).
