We're currently recruiting a dedicated Deli Assistant to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Compass Group Ireland on a full time basis , contracted to 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and presenting hot and cold deli items, sandwiches, salads, and snacks.
- Setting up and maintaining the deli counter, ensuring it is clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
- Serving customers efficiently and with a friendly, professional manner.
- Handling individual customer requests with a can-do attitude and aiming to exceed expectations.
- Following food hygiene, allergen, and Health & Safety guidelines in line with provided training.
- Ensuring correct storage and rotation of food items and equipment.
- Assisting colleagues as required to ensure smooth running of the operation.
Our ideal Deli Assistant will:
- Positive “can do” attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good people skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A good level of spoken English.
- Previous experience in a deli, catering, or customer service role would be an advantage, but is not essential.
