• Department: Design Technology (Photography & Editing, Video & Production, and Web Design)

• Curriculum: Ontario, Canada

• Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We are currently seeking an experienced Design Technology teacher to join our team of educators in the Grade 12 department at Sunway International School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Communications Technology (Photography, Video, and Web Design) to Grade 12/Pre-University students in accordance with the Canadian curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the Ontario (Canada) curriculum.

• Develop lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.

• Support students’ academic growth and personal development.

• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the academic program.

• Contribute to the school community via clubs, societies, and events.

• Participate in programme committees supporting either academics, events, compliance, and/or operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Design Technology or a related field.

• A Bachelor's degree in Education.

• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at the secondary/high school level.

• Strong knowledge of the Canadian curriculum.

• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (written and spoken).

• Ability to use technology effectively as part of the teaching process.

• Passionate about teaching, with excellent classroom management skills.

• Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification and registration preferred.
