- Manage the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support business goals.
- Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks effectively.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external auditors.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team to maintain high performance standards.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support decision–making within the organisation.
- Review and optimise internal financial controls and systems.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- A professional accounting qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and an understanding of financial compliance.
- Proven experience in managing financial operations within a business services environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem–solving skills to interpret financial data effectively.
- The ability to lead and develop a team, fostering a collaborative working environment.
- Strong communication skills to present financial insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools to streamline processes.
Job Offer
- Salary between 70,000 and 80,000, dependent on the level of experience.
