About the role

We’re looking for an Insight Executive to join our agency partnership with BMG , based in Nottingham.

Sitting within the Insights team, you’ll have a primary focus on delivering BMG IQ , our suite of insight products designed to help suppliers understand performance, identify opportunities and make more effective retail media decisions.

You’ll take projects from brief through to delivery, combining Boots first-party data, campaign performance and wider insight sources to uncover the “so what”. You’ll transform your analysis into compelling stories and clear, commercially relevant recommendations for clients.

What you’ll do

• Analyse campaign and channel performance to identify trends, opportunities and performance drivers for key brands.

• Bring together Boots first-party data, campaign results and wider insight sources to build a complete picture.

• Go beyond what happened to explain why it matters, translating analysis into actionable recommendations.

• Create compelling, client-ready presentations and dashboards.

• Manage insight projects from initial brief through to client delivery, keeping them on track against agreed timelines.

• Quality-check analysis and outputs to maintain consistently high standards.

• Build dashboards and tools that help client and campaign teams self-serve insights.

• Present findings and recommendations confidently to clients.

• Build strong relationships with BMG client teams, suppliers and wider stakeholders.

• Understand client objectives and make sure your insight answers the brief.

What we’re looking for

• The ability to turn complex analysis into a simple, compelling story with a clear “so what”.

• Confidence working with large datasets and structuring outputs for analysis.

• Experience building dashboards and visualising data using Power BI.

• Strong working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.

• Strong problem-solving skills, including identifying data inconsistencies and gaps.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to tailor insight and recommendations to different audiences.

• The ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across different teams.

• Experience querying and manipulating datasets using SQL is desirable but not essential.

• A basic understanding of Python and its application to data analysis is desirable but not essential.
