£18.00 - £21.00 per hour + Overtime

NEOS Engineering are recruiting for an established construction machinery business looking to add an experienced Workshop Engineer to their engineering team based in the Norfolk / Mildenhall area .

This is a hands-on workshop role working on a modern fleet of excavators, telehandlers, rollers and associated construction plant .

The Role

* Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on construction plant.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
* Complete planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
* Prepare machinery for hire and customer delivery.
* Carry out breakdown repairs and fault finding as required.
* Maintain accurate service and repair records.
* Ensure all machinery is maintained to a high standard.
* Work closely with the wider engineering and operations teams.

About You
We're looking for an experienced Workshop Engineer / Plant Fitter with a strong background working on construction machinery.

You'll ideally have:

* Previous experience working on heavy plant or construction equipment .
* Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
* Experience with excavators, telehandlers, rollers or similar machinery.
* Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment.
* Relevant plant engineering qualification is desirable but not essential.
* Good attention to detail and a strong approach to health & safety.

Package

* £18.00 - £21.00 per hour , depending on experience.
* Overtime available.
* Ongoing training and development.
