NEOS Engineering are recruiting for an established construction machinery business looking to add an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to their engineering team, covering Norfolk, Mildenhall and the surrounding areas .

This is a hands-on field-based role working primarily on a modern fleet of excavators, telehandlers, rollers and associated construction plant .

The Role

* Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on construction plant.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
* Attend breakdowns and minimise machine downtime.
* Complete planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
* Maintain accurate service and repair records.
* Liaise with customers and the wider engineering team.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.

About You
We're looking for an experienced Plant Fitter / Mobile Plant Engineer with a strong background working on construction machinery.

You'll ideally have:

* Previous experience working on heavy plant or construction equipment .
* Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
* Experience with excavators, telehandlers, rollers or similar machinery.
* Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
* Relevant plant engineering qualification is desirable but not essential.
* Full UK driving licence.

Package

* £19.00 - £24.00 per hour , depending on experience.
* Overtime available.
