Subject Teacher Maths & Science

Salary: From £32,412 per annum
Contract: Term time + 4 weeks (39 weeks per year)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

About the Role We are seeking a committed and inspiring Maths & Science Teacher to join our Middle School (Years 7-9, including GCSE preparation). You will deliver engaging lessons across Maths and Science, including both weekly teaching and immersive block lessons, tailored to a range of abilities. This role offers the opportunity to teach within a creative and values-led educational environment. Key Responsibilities * Plan and deliver high-quality Maths and Science lessons
* Prepare and conduct practical experiments safely
* Monitor pupil progress and produce reports
* Maintain and organise subject materials and resources
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
* Contribute to school events, trips and assemblies
* Support safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion
* Work with SENDCo to support pupils with additional needs
* Participate in meetings, training and professional development About You Essential: * Degree in a relevant subject
* Teaching experience
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing Desirable: * Recognised teaching qualification
* Waldorf/Steiner training or experience
* Experience teaching large classes
* Interest in Steiner education and Anthroposophy Personal Qualities * Ability to inspire and engage students
* Creative and adaptable teaching style
* Strong classroom management
* Team player with a flexible approach
* Commitment to continuous professional development
