Teaching Assistant (Secondary)

Salary Scale: £83.33 per day
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students in a vibrant secondary school in Market Harborough . This role is suitable for individuals passionate about enhancing students' academic and personal growth. Whether supporting classroom activities, working one-to-one with pupils, or assisting in managing behaviour, your contributions will be integral to the school's success.
As a Teaching Assistant , you will work closely with teachers and students to provide targeted support, ensuring every child has access to high-quality education.
Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
* Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and delivery.
* Providing tailored support to students with varying learning needs.
* Encouraging student participation and engagement.
* Maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.
* Monitoring and reporting student progress to teachers. Required Qualifications for a Teaching Assistant: * Previous experience in a similar role or working with children is advantageous.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
* A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one.
