The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Computer Science to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate leader to shape the future of computer science education within a vibrant and supportive school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Computer Science department.
- Develop and implement a stimulating and challenging curriculum that aligns with the latest advancements in technology.
- Foster a love of learning for computer science amongst students of all abilities.
- Lead a team of dedicated Computer Science teachers, providing ongoing coaching and professional development.
- Oversee all aspects of the Computer Science department, ensuring efficient and effective operation.
The Ideal Candidate
- A qualified Computer Science teacher with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.
- A passion for innovation and a commitment to staying abreast of the latest technological developments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- The ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
