Forge / Ancillary Operator
We are currently recruiting Forge and Ancillary Operators to join a busy and well-established manufacturing company. With several positions available across various shifts, this is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in manufacturing, production, engineering, or machine operating.
Job Title: Forge / Ancillary Operator
Pay: £14.00 per hour Available Shifts Include: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm - Midnight Rotating early and late shiftsm INCLUDES A shift allowance . The Role
As a Forge / Ancillary Operator, you will work within a dynamic manufacturing environment, supporting the production and forging processes. Your responsibilities will include: * Supporting day-to-day forge and manufacturing operations
* Operating production machinery and equipment
* Loading and unloading machinery
* Handling and moving materials and components
* Assisting with the production of manufactured components
* Carrying out general production and manufacturing duties
* Checking components for quality and identifying defects
* Following production instructions and processes
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area
* Adhering to all company health and safety procedures
* Collaborating effectively as part of a team to meet production targets Candidate Requirements * Previous experience in manufacturing, production, engineering, or a similar environment is advantageous
* Experience operating machinery would be beneficial
* Comfortable working within an industrial manufacturing setting
* Strong attention to detail
* Reliable with a committed work ethic
* Ability to work well within a team
