Job Title: GP Surgery Practice Nurse – Furness Vale
Location: Furness Vale
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £25 – £40 per hour depending on experience.
About the Role
We are currently recruiting a GP Surgery Practice Nurse for a GP practice in Furness Vale . The role suits a nurse with primary care experience who wants variety across chronic disease clinics, immunisations and treatment room work.
Key Responsibilities
- Run chronic disease clinics including asthma, COPD, diabetes and hypertension.
- Deliver childhood and adult immunisations and travel vaccinations.
- Carry out cervical screening and wound care.
- Provide health promotion and lifestyle advice.
- Maintain accurate records on the practice clinical system.
Requirements
- Active NMC registration
- Experience as a Practice Nurse in a GP setting
- Chronic disease management and immunisation experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
