Infrastructure Engineer – REQ PS3126.
Salary: £28,024.00 - £31,736.00 per annum Contract Type: Permanent, full time 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. Location: Paignton, Devon A rare opportunity has arisen for an Infrastructure Engineer to work within the Infrastructure team as part of the wider IT Services team. Candidates will have experience supporting digital infrastructure in an enterprise environment, with a strong focus on network, communications, server and cloud services. The role will support and maintain reliable, secure and available infrastructure for day-to-day College operations, including switching, wireless, connectivity, structured cabling, Microsoft server, Microsoft 365, Azure services and Teams telephony. Candidates should be able to demonstrate relevant IT infrastructure knowledge, practical troubleshooting skills and experience resolving incidents and service requests. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of senior colleagues, follow defined standards and change processes, escalate complex issues where required, and contribute to planned maintenance, upgrades, project activity and continuous service improvement. The role will be predominantly located on campus in Paignton, Devon. There will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
