About You
Working closely with the Service Leader and Support Worker Team, you will be responsible for supporting vulnerable individuals in their day to day lives. Each person we support is unique, so the support you provide will be person-centred and will focus on achieving the best lives possible for each individual.
Our Shifts: 8am - 9pm | 9pm - 8am (sleepover)
Shift Requirement: Days and sleepovers - working different days each week and including some weekends
Contract: 13 - 26 hours per week - permanent
Driving License Required? No
What You'll Be Doing
You'll support 2 young men, who share their home, with everyday tasks to ensure they're supported to be as independent as possible. For this role, we’re looking for male staff.
The young men we support love:
- Going to shows
- Eating out
- Music
- Walks
- Volunteering
You’ll help with:
- Home & daily living
- Medication & personal care
- Promoting independence & choice
- Appointments & finances
Sometimes the people we support really need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a male colleague is required. This is a genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010
