Pope Francis Catholic Multi Academy Trust is a family of Catholic schools, established by the Archbishop of Liverpool, at an exciting turning point in its development. About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing People Team at a pivotal stage in the Trust's development.

The People Partner will work closely with the Head of People to provide strategic and operational HR support across our family of schools. Acting as a trusted adviser to school leaders, you will help shape workforce strategy, support organisational development and deliver outstanding people services that enable schools to flourish.

The role combines expert HR business partnering with employee relations, workforce planning, recruitment, organisational change, leadership support and HR reporting. You will play a key role in developing positive workplace cultures, supporting leaders through change and ensuring people practices remain legally compliant, consistent and aligned with our Trust values.

This is a highly influential role requiring excellent employment law knowledge, outstanding relationship-building skills and the confidence to advise senior leaders across a growing organisation.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification (or possess equivalent professional experience), with evidence of continued professional development

  • Have substantial experience managing complex employee relations casework including disciplinary, grievance, capability and sickness absence matters

  • Be confident advising Headteachers and senior leaders on complex HR issues

  • Have excellent knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice

  • Be skilled in building positive relationships whilst providing constructive challenge

  • Have experience supporting recruitment, workforce planning and organisational change

  • Be confident analysing workforce data to inform strategic decision-making

  • Possess excellent communication, organisational and report-writing skills

  • Be resilient, solutions-focused and committed to continuous improvement

  • Be committed to safeguarding, equality, inclusion and staff wellbeing
