Business Development Manager - Marketing Services

£45k - £55k per annum

The Company

Our client is a trusted provider of business intelligence, data insight, and marketing solutions within the government and security sector. With over four decades of industry expertise, they help organisations make informed strategic decisions through reliable market intelligence, expert journalism, and targeted marketing campaigns.

Their work helps companies, government agencies, and industry professionals around the world by delivering accurate data, in-depth analysis, and high-impact content.

They are now looking for a driven Business Development Manager to join them at an exciting time of growth. If you're a natural communicator with a passion for sales and driving revenue then this could be a good fit for you.

The Role

As their Business Development Manager, you'll be a key driver of growth-connecting their marketing services solutions with new commercial opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, identify, and qualify new business leads.
  • Assist in building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Selling tailored marketing solutions including digital marketing services, events and bespoke content.
  • Craft tailored outreach strategies and support with pitch materials and proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams.
  • Track and report on outreach, conversion metrics, and deal flow.
  • Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.

About You:

  • 2 years or more outbound sales experience within the media, digital marketing or marketing services industry.
  • A natural communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Curious, self-starting, and comfortable managing multiple leads at once.
  • Strategic thinker with a can do mindset.
