Our Client is looking for an English Teacher to work within a highly successful mixed secondary school based in York. This is a full-time position starting from January 2026.

Our Client is looking for an English Teacher to teach across KS3 & KS4 within a department known for its innovative teaching, exceptional results, and emphasis on creative learning.
Experience and Qualifications
- English Teacher
- Be enthusiastic, inspiring, and committed to excellence
- Have excellent subject knowledge
- A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
- Legal ability to work within the UK
School Information
This is an 11–18 mixed school in York with 1,300 pupils on roll and a national reputation for outstanding achievement. In 2024, 96% of students achieved grades 9–4 in English and Maths, with English achieving an impressive 94% pass rate.
