Class 1 Driver Royal Mail

Flexible Shifts | £21.44 – £27.75 per hour | Potential Long-Term Work Qube Recruitment are currently recruiting Class 1 (HGV C+E) Drivers to work with Royal Mail. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 Drivers looking for flexible work, attractive rates of pay and regular depot-to-depot driving with a well-established client. There is also potential for long-term, ongoing work for drivers who perform well and meet the client's requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Class 1 Driver working with Royal Mail, your main responsibilities will include:

• Driving Class 1 vehicles between Royal Mail depots
• Transporting letters and parcels around the country
• Completing depot-to-depot deliveries and collections
• Working primarily from depot to depot, with minimal manual handling
• Providing your availability and choosing shifts that suit you

The work is straightforward and offers minimal manual handling, making it an attractive option for drivers who prefer to focus on driving rather than multi-drop deliveries.

DAY AND NIGHT WORK AVAILABLE

Royal Mail are currently particularly busy on night shifts, so the more flexible you are, the more shifts are available to you. Royal Mail offers very flexible working arrangements, allowing drivers to provide their availability and choose shifts around their existing commitments.

RATES OF PAY

Royal Mail offers excellent rates of pay, with a sliding scale depending on the shift worked. £21.44 – £27.75 per hour Rates vary depending on the specific shift, including days and nights. Qube Recruitment can provide a full breakdown of the available rates upon request.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

To be considered for this role:

• You must hold a valid Class 1 / C+E licence
• You must have held your Class 1 licence for a minimum of 1 year
• You must have used your Digital Tachograph Card within the last 6 months
• You must be flexible
• You must be willing to undergo a DBS check as part of the onboarding process
• You must have the right to work in the UK
• There is potential for long-term, ongoing work for suitable drivers
