A friendly and inclusive primary school in Twickenham is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a mainstream setting, providing classroom support while also working 1:1 with pupils who have additional needs to help them access learning and thrive within the school environment.
The Role
- Full-time Teaching Assistant position
- Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day learning
- Providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
- Encouraging pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Working closely with the SENCO, teachers and support staff
- Contributing positively to the wider school community in Twickenham
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable
- Patient, nurturing and proactive approach
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Reliable, committed and a positive team player
