We are reaching out with a unique opportunity to join our client as Head of Data within their Fund-focused business. This is a permanent position offering the chance to shape and lead our client’s data agenda, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive data strategy, governance and insight across our client’s team and their fund operations.
Skills
- Strategic Data Leadership – Set the vision and roadmap for how data is captured, managed and used across the fund environment.
- Data Governance – Establish clear policies, standards and controls to ensure data quality, consistency and compliance.
- Data Architecture & Management – Oversee how data flows through systems, ensuring it is structured and accessible for reporting and analytics.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with investment, operations and technology teams to align data initiatives with business objectives.
- Insight & Reporting – Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support decision-making in a fund context.
What you’ll do
- Define and drive the overall data strategy for our client’s fund business.
- Lead the development and implementation of data governance frameworks.
- Oversee data architecture and integration across key fund systems.
- Partner with senior leaders to deliver data-driven insights and reporting.
- Build and mentor a data-focused culture within our client’s team.
What you’ll need
- Proven experience leading data initiatives at a senior level.
- Strong understanding of data governance and data management principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Track record of using data to drive strategic business decisions.
- Experience operating in a fund or financial services environment.
