The Role

• Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on specialism

• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that support strong progress

• Delivering practical science lessons with a clear focus on safety and subject knowledge

• Assessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback

• Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development

• Playing an active role in the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree in a Science-related subject

• Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

• Strong subject knowledge and high expectations for pupil outcomes

• Good classroom management and organisational skills

• A professional, positive, and collaborative approach
