Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer

Job Type: Days based, Perm

Location: Surrey

Hours: Mon-Thurs 7.30 to 16.30 | Fri 7.30 till 12.30 (39Hrs)

Pay: £20ph - £22ph DOE

Established in 1948, our client has a prestigious background within the defence and aerospace sectors having worked on component parts for many leading military projects.

Due to continued success, our client is looking for another skilled CNC Miller to join their workforce.

Key Responsibilities

* Program, set, and operate a Doosan Puma 2600 single-turret CNC lathe.

* Work with C and Y Axis machining.

* Write, prove, edit, and optimise CNC programs from scratch.

* Machine a range of materials to high precision.

* Produce small batch components, typically 1-10 off.

* Read and interpret engineering drawings.

* Work to tight tolerances and meet production deadlines.

* Work independently and as part of a team.

Essential Requirements

* Minimum 5 years' CNC turning experience.

* Experience programming CNC lathes from scratch.

* Strong knowledge of machining a variety of materials.

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

* Good understanding of engineering drawings.

* High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
