We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic English Teacher (ECT) to join a thriving independent school in Southend-on-Sea this September.

• Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with opportunities to contribute at Key Stage 5 where appropriate)

• Encouraging a love of reading, creativity and critical thinking through literature and language
• Supporting students to achieve excellent academic outcomes through effective teaching and assessment
• Contributing to a supportive and collaborative English department
• Taking part in the wider life of the school, including enrichment, reading initiatives and co-curricular opportunities
