Female Care Assistants
We are only able to accept applicants who have the right to work in the Uk and live within a commutable distance to the location of the job role and able to work full-time 33-44 hours per week.
The Nursing home offers a range of specialist care for residents, ranging from Alzeimer's and Parkinsons care to care for stroke victims.
Successful applicants, will have 1-2 years experience preferably in a similar role.
Salary: £12.82 per hour

Work Environment
This position is crucial in the healthcare system, as Mental Health Care Assistants play a vital role in helping individuals manage their mental health conditions and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care : Provide personal care and support to patients, including assistance with daily living activities such as eating, bathing, and dressing.
- Therapeutic Engagement : Engage with patients in therapeutic activities to promote recovery and alleviate distress. This includes identifying factors that may increase agitation and employing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Monitoring and Reporting : Observe and document patients' conditions, including any changes in behavior or mood, and report these to the nursing staff.
- Supportive Environment : Create a safe and compassionate environment for patients, ensuring their dignity and privacy are respected at all times.
- Collaboration : Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, psychiatrists, and social workers, to implement care plans and support patients effectively.
- Crisis Intervention : Recognize signs of distress or crisis in patients and respond appropriately to ensure their safety and well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Experience : Previous experience in a care role,e xperience with dementia, brain injury and nursing home is desirable
- Certifications : Holding a Care Certificate or equivalent is typically desirable.
- Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Cheerful, compassionate, respectful, and caring approach, and have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of the needs of vulnerable adults and the desire to make a positive contribution to the lives of others.
- Ability to work on own initiative
