UK Line Chef
Located in the heart of Manchester’s vibrant Northern Quarter, Wilson's is a destination for those seeking a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. With its expansive glass frontage on the corner of Hilton Street and Oldham Street, the space feels bright and welcoming by day and transforms effortlessly into a bustling evening setting.
The menu at Wilson's is thoughtfully curated to cater to all! Mornings and early afternoons feature favourites such as a full English, brioche French toast, and salmon with whipped feta on a toasted bagel, alongside vibrant vegetarian and vegan options. For the drinkers, we have over 25 draught taps and a wide cocktail menu.
As the day unfolds, Wilson's evolves into a lively bar venue, with pub quiz's, live music & DJ's.
Whether stopping by for brunch, a casual lunch, or gathering with friends over a pint, Wilson's delivers a welcoming experience rooted in quality, flavour, and memorable moments in the heart of Manchester.
What will you do?
Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and specifications.
Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Assist with food prep and portioning during service.
Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front-of-house as needed.
Monitor food quality and report any issues to the Head or Sous Chef.
Assist in receiving and storing kitchen deliveries.
Support other chefs and kitchen staff as needed.
What do we look for?
Proven experience as a line cook or similar role in a busy kitchen.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions precisely.
Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
