The Team

The EMEA payroll team serves as liaison to employees and with third party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company specific pay policies, as well as multi-country legislation. We manage payroll for the employees of 19 countries in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Responsibilities

Payroll Processing

  • Preparing payroll inputs
  • Reviewing results and making adjustments
  • Post payroll reporting
  • Liaising with HR and Finance teams as required

Project Support

  • Alongside payroll specialists, document payroll procedures in a standard format. Format is both in MS Word, and process flow (e.g LucidChart)
  • Support payroll project implementations & transitions
  • Contribute to and participate in continuous improvement initiatives across global markets
  • Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Support in Time & Attendance system global implementation and roll out

What You Will Learn

  • Knowledge of EMEA Payroll Labour Laws & Tax Regulations
  • Payroll Processing Basics : Salary computation, overtime, statutory and voluntary deductions, benefits
  • Compliance & Reporting : Familiarity with government reporting requirements and deadlines
  • Time and Attendance Basics: Schedules, time card and time and absence recording

Who you are

  • Final Year student or on track to graduate with Bachelor Business/Finance/Accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, + other excel formulae.
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and process flow creation
  • Power automation / Power BI / co-Pilot advantageous
