Band 6 Biomedical Scientist within Haematology in Falkirk UK earning up to £32.37 per hour Hourly. What you will do:
- Perform haematology and coagulation tests using Sysmex XN and Stago analysers, ensuring accurate results and competent blood film morphology.
- Validate and authorise clinical laboratory results, issuing reports to clinicians.
- Recommend further tests or actions and consult with senior staff or consultants as necessary.
- Interpret results from both routine and complex tests.
- Directly report any critical or urgent results to clinicians or nursing staff, referring to more senior colleagues when needed.
- Suggest and implement follow-up tests to assist in disease diagnosis.
- Manage your own workload efficiently while supporting and guiding trainee or support staff in your section.

To be considered:
