Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be involved in the development, clearance and negotiation of a suite of Bids across the P4E Landscape, inclusive of:

• Working alongside the Technical, Commercial and Procurement teams to develop and agree bid plans

• Co-ordinate and drive the SDUs and Suppliers inputs in line with bid plan

• Consolidate inputs and support internal clearance activities

• Represent BAE Systems in EuroFighter during the Harmonisation and clearance activities

• Ensure high quality and timely reporting of New Business status / issues via monthly reporting governance and/or ad-hoc sessions

• Support with stakeholder management, which will include liaising with internal and external stakeholders

• Assist with project delivery by holding regular reviews; ensuring strategic alignment

• Create relevant management information, using good analytical skills, to better assess project performance

• Using your strategic and holistic problem-solving techniques to help deliver the project to time, cost and quality

Your skills and experiences:

• Significant PM&C experience demonstrated in a professional role within a complex business or project including Earned Value Management
• Proven understanding of a range of PM&C tools techniques and practices
• Good knowledge of the PM&C capability landscape including with Professional institutions
• Ability to influence internal stakeholders to achieve business success and to capture, evaluate and share best practice
• Ability to work well in a team

Desirable:

• Experience of operating in a agile/complex Bid Environment

• Good knowledge and experience of PM&C governance and assurance processes such as Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and as Assessor of PM&C aspects at LCM Reviews

Qualifications:

• AMP-PMQ
• Experience of conducting SRA (schedule risk analysis)

Security Level:

BPSS + SC in Flight + Subject to ITAR

This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite. You will need to obtain a BPSS check as part of this process. You must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC. In addition, this role involves direct and/or indirect access to ITAR Material which means there are restriction.
