We are currently recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to work in a school-based kitchen in Bearsted , supporting the preparation and service of meals for students and staff during term time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
- Serving meals to pupils and staff
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Following food safety and health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment preferred
- A positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safeguarding children
