Job Title: Yoga Instructor

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate, qualified, and safety conscious Yoga Instructor to design and lead engaging yoga sessions for individuals and groups. The ideal candidate will guide students through physical postures, breathing exercises, and mindfulness techniques while tailoring classes to suit varying ability levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well structured yoga classes including warm ups, postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation or meditation.

• Demonstrate correct physical alignments and provide safe, hands on or verbal modifications for beginners, injured participants, or special populations like pregnant students.

• Ensure student safety by conducting pre class health checks and observing form to prevent injury.

• Create an inclusive, welcoming, and encouraging atmosphere for all participants.

• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the studio space and equipment.

• Handle administrative duties such as tracking attendance, managing class bookings, and communicating studio policies.

• Stay updated on industry standards, health and safety regulations, and personal continuing professional development.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Yoga or a recognised 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training qualification.

• Registered with a relevant UK professional body such as CIMSPA or Yoga Alliance UK.

• Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of personal practice and teaching experience preferred.
