An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate, motivated and high-performing Science Teacher to join an outstanding secondary school in Cambridge. This is a full-time, permanent position, starting September 2026, ideal for a teacher seeking to work in a highly academic and supportive environment.
Job Overview
The school is seeking a Science Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across KS3–KS4 , with the opportunity to teach KS5 for suitably experienced candidates. Students are highly motivated, curious and academically driven, and the department places strong emphasis on practical investigation, scientific reasoning and exam excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
• Teaching Science across KS3–KS4 (KS5 available if appropriate)
• Delivering engaging, well-structured practical and theory-based lessons
• Supporting GCSE and A-Level exam preparation and intervention
• Contributing to curriculum development and shared departmental resources
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement
• Participating in enrichment activities such as STEM clubs and competitions

Experience & Qualifications
• Degree in a Science-related subject
• PGCE with QTS

Salary
Paid to scale on MPS/UPS , with potential additional responsibility for experienced candidates.
