They will inspire both students and colleagues, ensuring consistently high standards of teaching, learning, and achievement across all key stages.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Maths department, setting a clear strategic vision for curriculum development and teaching excellence.
Deliver outstanding Maths teaching across KS3–KS5, including GCSE and A-Level.
Mentor, support, and develop departmental colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Monitor student progress and attainment, using assessment data to inform teaching and raise achievement.
Promote mathematical enrichment through competitions, problem-solving initiatives, and wider school activities.
Contribute actively to the academic, pastoral, and co-curricular life of the school.

Essential Requirements
A degree in Mathematics or a closely related discipline.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Substantial experience teaching Maths at secondary level, including GCSE and A-Level.
Proven leadership experience or a clear readiness to lead a department.
A genuine passion for mathematics and high-quality education.
