Job summary

We require 2 sessions each on a Monday and Wednesday with the third day required being negotiable.

With a patient list of approximately 12,000, we are proud to provide high-quality, patient-centred care and have achieved a Good CQC rating. We use EMIS Web and work within a multidisciplinary team, including experienced GPs including 6 partners , nurses, clinical pharmacists, care coordinators and a knowledgeable administrative team.

Main duties of the job
As a General Practitioner, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse practice population, delivering both routine and urgent primary care services. You will manage a varied clinical workload through face-to-face, telephone and online consultations, making evidence-based decisions to support the best possible patient outcomes.

Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the ongoing development of clinical services, support quality improvement initiatives and help maintain high standards of patient safety and care. As a teaching practice, you'll also have opportunities to supervise and support medical students and GP trainees, depending on your experience and interests.

The system for agreeing annual leave is transparent, efficient and fair, with decisions on requests made promptly.

There is a clear, collective process for managing leave demand for popular periods, including 9-12 months advance planning to help with childcare and coordination with your family.

Leave is well coordinated, and locums are booked to ensure the practice does not lack cover.
