LKS2 Teacher - Nottingham

A week in the life — LKS2 Teacher
Mornings: the LKS2 Teacher leads mathematics and English sequences as the LKS2 Teacher, focusing on fluency, reasoning and vocabulary. Afternoons: the LKS2 Teacher delivers foundation topics and small-group boosters as the LKS2 Teacher. Outside contact time the LKS2 Teacher plans, marks and collaborates with phase colleagues: planning that begins prior to January 2026 and continues after January 2026.
LKS2 Teacher Responsibilities
The LKS2 Teacher will: plan sequenced units across Years 3 and 4 as the LKS2 Teacher; assess progress and tailor interventions as the LKS2 Teacher; participate in moderation and support transition activities as the LKS2 Teacher. The LKS2 Teacher will prepare resources ahead of January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026.
LKS2 Teacher Requirements
We require an LKS2 Teacher with QTS, strong KS2 experience and excellent organisational skills. The LKS2 Teacher must be available for pre-term planning prior to January 2026, for induction in January 2026, and to teach from January 2026 in a part-time capacity. The LKS2 Teacher should be collaborative, reflective and data-aware.
